Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven


Morning (just) everyone. Hope you are all well?Weather is dreadful here but it doesn't really matter as I have the blinds shut but I can still hear it.

I've been really tired today. Hopefully I'm going my sisters later as she has 2 kittens that she wants to show me. My legs are still a little bit swollen but all in all I can't complain too much. I've just got to limit my work load today but tomorrow their might be more energy.

Football wise I keep thinking why can't they bring in an out of contract player who can play LB or RB then I would feel a little more comfort in our squad.

I want to thank you all for coming in here every morning. It makes me feel good knowing I'm going to get some football talk everyday and also general chit chat.

The wind is blowing the clouds away and the sun has just come out here. Hopefully the rain will clear up where you are soon. It’s a pleasure to pop in here every day to check how things are going. Hope you are able to get to your sisters to see the kittens I bet they are gorgeous.?

I've just looked. Was always the danger of only playing 2 midfielders and not having any one to rotate. I know this is hindsight but against West Ham we should have played 4-3-3. Gbamin or Davies instead of Iwobi. The work load is higher when there is only 2 in midfield also they don't get rested or subbed. Let's hope Gbamin can step up and make it not such a miss. Gomes and Delph need to get fit so at least we can consider going 3 in midfield to protect the players we have.

It's one of them days where I wish I could just sleep all day and start again tomorrow.

Afternoon mate, my mate who lives on the West Coast and is a keen cyclist, messaged me earlier to say that he`d just got back from his morning ride and described it as " swimming on a bike " lol

Can you take a couple of pics of the kittens, as they`re very popular on here ;)

I'll try my best to get photos of the kittens. They could well be actual cats as she has been trying to get me to go up and see them for weeks.

It's sounds horrendous so I'm trying to avoid looking at it. I have no reason to go out into it apart from when I go visit my sister. I hope we get some good news on the injury. One thing in the back of my kind is this will mean Gbamin will get a more prominent role. Benitez is going to need to play him instead of just leaving him in the bench for 90 minutes.

Afternoon Karl.

Doucoure out for 8 weeks (without set-backs) and knowing that Gbamin has to now stay fit and deliver is frightening.

With a midfield of Allen, Davies and Iwobi, there goes the old catch them on the break tactic.

Maybe this is the chance Gbamin needs. If he's fit he would definitely start for me and see how long we can get out of him. I'm hoping 65 minutes at least. Unfortunately there has never been the right circumstances to bring him on to get minutes and we weren't starting with any other pair so it has further limited his game time. If he plays well will have to be patient ah he has been out a long time. But if there is a player in there we should be able to tell.

Must do is a great master as they say.

If he can’t manage it then let’s be extra positive and say it gives Davies plenty of time in the shop window pre January ?
