Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Must do is a great master as they say.

If he can’t manage it then let’s be extra positive and say it gives Davies plenty of time in the shop window pre January ?

I finally had that much discussed Oxtail Soup. It was magnificent with 4 slices of bread one of which was the crust.

I think we should go 3 in midfield if Gbamin isn't up to the job. I think if you have Davies and Gomes either side of Allan that should make up for some of the shortfall. This however leaves us with only 3 attacking places and we are bound to get all 4 of our main attackers available so one will miss out. The advantage to it is you can keep them fresh and first option off the bench is better quality.

Well in Messy lad, that is the tea of a champion right there.

Dare I say it but this is likely the first time we will have missed our Icelandic ghost this season to date.

Given the injury records of Allan and Gomes as well, we may soon be feasting our eyes on the Unholy Trinity of Davies, Holgate and Godfrey.

Good times Messy, good times.

Evening mate. Glad you finally got your oxtail soup, and four slices of bread is very impressive, too. I haven't had oxtail soup for years, but had it lots as a kid, with bits of broken up bread soaked in it. Yum! I liked it much better than that Batchelor's crap in a packet my mum sometimes used to buy, with chewy vegetables that tasted like plastic.

Gutted about Doucoure, as he's been brilliant this season. Gbamin looked very rusty against QPR, and I'll also be fretting every time he goes down after a tackle, in case he breaks again. I just hope Allan isn't as injury prone as he was last season.

My favourite soup at the moment is Heinz beef and vegetable. I crumble one, (or two) Oxo cubes in, stir in well, then heat. I have a couple of buttered toasted muffins with it and very nice it is too. Recommended (and I'm not on commission!)
You did well there Messy with the Oxtail.

Morning Messy, hope you had a restful night. The wind is blowing a gale and absolutely pouring down, feel sorry for the kids going by to school they are absolutely soaking! Thundering now too. Was hoping to go to see my friend this morning but at this rate I won’t make it past the front door. Hope today is a good day for you.

Morning Messy. How was your night. Hope you slept well.

What's on the agenda for today?

I'm just going to get up a work colleague is taking me for a cuppa at 11. Then after that no plans. Maybe come on here and chat football. More likely fall asleep but a blend of both would be fine.

You up to much? Any more things you need to sort?
