Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Sorry not been on much today. Had a couple of appointments to keep and also fell asleep on the sofa again.

Palliative nurse came she's just going to keep me on a watching brief for the time being.

The ultrasound was good as there were no blood clots in my left leg which was the worst of the legs. I'm still going to need to careful but at least there is no immediate danger.

I am but not as much as I was before I heard that Mina is missing out. We have our best CB, CM and ST missing at the same time. It could only happen to Everton.

This was a game I had pencilled in go to if I could. I try to make a weekend out of game, pre Covid I got 4 bums on the flight, match tickets and 2 nights in Premier Inn for about £500.

Flights alone are £700 plus now

The manager and the injury crisis aren’t swaying me to break the bank to be honest.

I just want to see Gbamin given a chance. If he comes in and plays well the wait will almost seem worth it. If he isn't good enough at least we can stop clinging to false hope.

Yeah you want it to be worth it if you are spending that much at a time. We honestly have the worst luck with injuries in the whole league yet the press never use it as our excuse.

I was at the Gbamin Watford game at Goodison, my lad is still wearing his name embossed top bought that morning.

Actually glad fate has played this card for Gbamin. Now we know whether we have the player we paid top dollar for or he’s done. Simple.

All media is Kopite or Red Manc. Just shrug it off now.

Messy, I know it's no consolation, but Leeds is one club who are worse off. They currently have 5 first choice players out injured. (3 games) Only one back this week. (Oops, sorry. One was a 'sending-off suspension).

Glad everything went ok today buddy. What you reckon tomorrow Karl, 3 in midfield Allan, Gbamin and Davies??? Or do you think thats too defensive against Watford??

No that's exactly the way I would go. Front 3 of Townsend Richarlison Gray should have enough pace and power. Some people want to put Godfrey or Holgate in there. That is way to defensive hopefully Gomes and Delph fit soon so we can give all the boys breathers. I just hope we score early because after last week the crowd will start getting on their back. At least it gives us a chance to take Rondon out of the firing line. Maybe coming on late in the game when everyone is tired will be an equaliser. I predict 2-0 to the blues.

Yeah id go the exact same as you mate. Glad Ritchies back, it was an eyesore watching Rondon lately. Would love Gbamin to be as good as we thought when we bought him. Doucoures injury definitely gives Gbamin the chance to show us what hes got. I think we'll all despair if he gets injured again though. Id love Tom to prove his doubters wrong and finally seize his chance he needs confidence and a run of games and identify a role for himself whether hes a dm or an old fashioned cm. 4-0 tomorrow.
