Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hi, Guys, yeah I'm ok thanks, been feeling a bit down n not very chatty, just fed up with the constant headaches but I have to live with it and it can get a bit much at times. I did watch the game though yesterday it was a very welcome bit if relief and It 's so nice to enjoy a football match again, If we can at least get the home form right we can work from there for next season.

I did get some new stuff on the shopping to mention but can't remember now, I did get some nougat and fig rolls and I tried a red velvet cake as well lol in fact I spent way way too much on sweet crap.
As long as you enjoy eating it T and it gives you a little bit of mental relief to take your mind away from the constant pain, then why not.

A week ago I was feeling really sorry for myself because I had a dental abscess, and just couldn't cope with the pain. But my thoughts turned to you and the fact that what I was going through was just normal daily routine to you. I found it very humbling T and I'm so fortunate to have my health.

Take care mate and great to hear from you.

Happy Sunday everybody. Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I had a good day, made better by the Blues result and performance.

My neighbours/landlords are becoming good friends too. They are good people.

Anyway I have the hangover from hell. I need to get up out of bed and put some coffee on. Luckily I had the foresight last night to get a couple of posh sausages out of the freezer so I'll have some stodge for brunch. Think I need it.

Catch up later everyone.
Missed your birthday … hope it was as good as could be … oh Everton won by 3-0 can’t get better than that buddy

Hi Fred and everyone else in here.

Thanks for asking after me. I've been really busy and have spent just about all my spare time over the last week or so redecorating the bedroom of on old lady who lives near me. The walls were covered in woodchip wallpaper, which was an absolute bstrd to get off. Awful stuff.

She's a widow, and told me her late husband put paste on both the wallpaper and the wall to make sure it stayed on. "Well, he certainly did a good job," I said through gritted teeth. She kept popping in to see how it was going, but it was really an excuse to have a chat. She also provided lots of tea and dark chocolate digestives, which provided much needed sustenance for my woodchip hell.

Hope everyone's having a good day. I'm having a woodchip-free day, which is bliss. Currently having a couple of Choco Leibniz biscuits, washed down with Yorkshire tea.
Top man BTS, woodchip is he'll on earth and you deserve a good rest after that good deed.

Good afternoon lovelies. Cold and rainy here today. Glad you had a good birthday Fred and hope that the hangover is receding. My go to hangover food was always a Burger King Whopper with Cheese. Never failed lol. Nice to see you posting @Terrarian . Hope you are feeling a bit better. Nothing much to tell you about today. I have made plans to go to Liverpool next weekend so that will be good. We're all going as well so that will be even more fun.

Still on a bit of a smiley high after yesterday. I loved Frank's comments afterwards - he enjoyed it, it made him happy. More of the same please.

Daughter has gone to York for a few days with her boyfriend, it's his birthday today and Valentine's Day tomorrow. She's just left with enough alcohol to sink a battleship. Apparently that's to drink in their room!

Have a happy Sunday all x

Glad you had a good birthday mate. That performance from the Blues must have helped. Gordon's turning into some player, VDB looks a great signing and Alli showed some nice touches, particularly that sublime pass to Rondon. The whole team played well though, and that was probably the best Iwobi and Kenny have ever played for us. The fans were brilliant and created a great atmosphere, so well done to everyone who contributed to that. Fortress Goodison is back.

Hope your hangover has eased Fred.

Good to hear from you T. I thought about you last Sunday. I was at the Imperial War Museum in London with my 16 year old daughter and there was quite an extensive display on WW1.

It took us ages to get round, but that was mainly due to the fact my daughter was reading literally everything. It felt a bit like role reversal and I was the impatient teenager rolling my eyes because she was taking so long.

We didn't get to see much else after the WW1 exhibits. We were tired and our brains were full, so we decided to go home and come back another time.

Been a hard day here in Finland ,it was Finland vs Sweden at Ice Hockey -for those who don't know that is the Merseyside derby of Ice Hockey .
First period 0-0 second the Finns went mad and had so many penalties against them ,the Swedes up 3-0 Finland have the same complex as the Blues when it comes to this game ,last period somehow the Finns score three ,so 3-3 into extra time and you all know what happens .No , Finland won the golden goal and beat the Swedes .Now almost everyone in Finland is drunk .
