All airside help desks closed
Back out to landslide
Rescued a young teenage girl who looked at me and burst into tears ( I have that affect on women of all ages ) she was travelling alone for the first time and her flight was cancelled …. So I took her to the front of the service queue and handed her over to Lufthansa customer service ( the yellow gestappo) and then got myself rebooked to fly this afternoon. … back through security
Back through Covid checks to get to the lounge
Forget the wine … where’s the gin

Yeah the local news channels on both stations painted a pretty grim picture. So I'm currently sharing my living room with 2 full sized sunbeds and a patio set. lol

Good morning all a bit upside down today as we had Finland vs Slovakia at 6am our time so my body clock is all a dither .Had my Friday porridge and a dip to try to acclimatise a bit but still dopey .I hope all stay safe today ,it seems it is going to hit finland later but we don't get so strong winds up here ,it might bring more snow though just what we need . Have great day all and so nice to hear Blue is a bit better @jazzy .

Morning all, belting down with rain and the wind is picking up, worst is supposed to hit us at around 11 this morning. The red zone is just south of us @jazzy we are in the amber though which will be bad enough, pleased to hear the boy had a good night and is a bit better. Stay safe all.

Very very bumpy flight across the alps …. Hilarious … it started bouncing about just as I had my trousers around my ankles in the loo … air hostess … knocking on the door say go back to my seat ….. while I’m hopping about trying to wipe shake and pull up all at the same time

Looks like the leg into Manchester us going to be even bumpier … hmmm there’s wine open in the lounge 7 am … who cares I’m going in !!!
