Very enjoyable the bath was too. Was in there an hour and managed not to fall asleep and drop my book in the water. Dried myself off with a real sense of achievement.Right, so we have someone on the piss in an airport, and someone in the bath..
Got to love the forum sometimes..
Not if you want to see it again .Great weather for hanging out a wash ?
I'll have to wipe the seagull poo off it first lolGet on the sun lounger with your pina coloda and pretend that you are in St Barts, and its hurricane season.
Mate. That's the same as the quickest gusts from the 1987 storm. Just wow.122 MPH just recorded..

Touch wood I'm not getting it too bad in my back. I think I've been quite lucky with the wind direction that I've got decent cover from surrounding houses and decent fencing. But I've done a quick google search and it's pretty bad down here. Lots of fallen trees (and I mean bloody big ones falling across main roads) 10,000 homes without power, many in West Cornwall where I am, and even reports that a whole roof in a village about 10 miles from me is now sitting in the middle of the road. lol Lot's of road closures and coastal flooding as you would imagine. Pictures from Porthleven, which always get's it bad, are quite scary.50000 Cornish residents without power according to BBC with Losthwithiel badly affected.
That's getting too close to @Barnfred 55
Isn't it blue rinse day today Anj?Good morning all. We've binned off the trip to Liverpool until next weekend. My Dad was worried about us driving across and said to stay at home. Not much wind around here at the moment although we are only in the yellow zone. I think Dudley was worse for us. Poor cat is desperate to go out but she hates the snow - I don't think she likes her paws being cold and wet so she is cuddled up next to the radiator at the moment. She's really funny. She insists that we open every door that leads to the outside so she can check that the weather is the same at every exit. She's also in a huff because we've run out of cat treats until I go shopping later. Not having a good day.
As was said in one of my favourite ever TV shows "Let's be careful out there" (bonus if you can remember without Googling!) lol
