Oh mate you sound as though you feel you've been chastised, but that's not the case at all. You've neither said nor done anything wrong. All Blue was saying is that it's the sort of subject that can become very emotive and very easily spiral into something unsavoury, as indeed it has in the current affairs forum. And that's just something that he wanted to avoid happening in here and I think he's right. He did the same with the Northern Ireland topic the other day.

The reporting on the Ukraine on CNN is absolutely staggering and scary in equal measure.
They have reporters on the ground in Ukraine reporting on the invasion and upon actual engagements.
Their military and political analysis upon Putins true intentions is impressive in its detail but incredibly worrying.
One very senior politician on the US defence committee said the greatest worry was a massive cyber attack upon Ukraines gas and electricity utilities that would bleed into Poland a NATO member and thereby invoke Art. 5 and lead to a full blow war.

I love CNN. Their coverage of the US election and the Capitol riots was second to none.
 

Good evening everybody. Hope you are all OK. Would like to tell you about the new twist on going to the supermarket in your pyjamas that I witnessed this morning just before 7am. Dropped Mr F off as I usually do at the garage near where he works. The garage has a little Spar supermarket incorporated so Mr F usually goes in and buys a sandwich for his lunch. As I was pulling away I saw a man filling his car up wearing what appeared to be camo style pyjamas. T shirt top and shorts! It was about -2 at the time. Definitely not regular Army gear, Have just confirmed with Mr F, who saw him when he went in to pay for his fuel that yes, he was wearing his jimjams!

I’m seeing that happening more and more often but never actually saw a man doing it….
 

OK guys , good news on the doggie front.

Just back from the vets with Blue.

As far as the lady vet can tell the painkillers are working well and he isn't in distress.

He has bad arthritis in all 4 legs , much worse in the front leg that he won't put weight on.

However she is happy with his appetite and encourages us to give him gentle exercise.

He has hated taking his daily painkilling Tabley and his reaction is that it must taste very bitter. So she is able to give him a new treatment that has proved successful with a monthly painkilling injection.

Clearly he isn't going to recover but for now he's fine.

I appreciate that many of you have been worried.
