Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I zoomed in on the concrete post/ trellis fence in pic 2 as we‘re 3/4 through replacing the old wooden trellis fence/ wooden posts with concrete posts and lattice type panels. I showed your pic to Mrs. blueloon, concrete posts are unheard of in this part of the world. Nice garden by the way, daffodils in bloom in February are also unheard of here ?
I erected that fence 25 years ago when we moved in. The concrete posts have lasted well ( some wear but not too much ) and only replaced the panels last year.

In the back I've used treated wooden posts and panels and gone through 2 fences in 25 years.

The small daffodils that you see are tete a tete and much earlier than Devon gold which I have in the rest of the garden

I tried that last year in part of our back garden but the area just ended up a mess. I must have done something wrong. We were anxious to encourage wildlife too
It needs patience and just mow once a year in the autumn. My Missus took a lot of persuasion!! It takes a couple of seasons to turn from a mess to a lovely wildlife garden. I love it as do my dogs. A safe sanctuary for them to romp around. Great to see hedgehogs breeding.

She's terrible honestly and she remembers everything, if i stop her getting to something that she wants to pick up n eat, she'll remember where it's at and go straight to it next time we are heading that way and obviously i don't remember everything, she even does it if a long time has passed between walks, infuriating it is. I'm the one has to clean the sick up but touch wood nothing more serious, I'd rather not have to pay a vet over it, not that she understands that's why i shout at her. Its the only thing i can say bad about her she's brilliant in every other way, little bugger lol
@Terrarian ,there is no point in shouting other than for your good ,it is in her nature .Can you use another route or muzzle her for the walk ? Or put her in a duffle bag on your back !!

I only shout stop at her lol, It's nothing to do with which route I walk Blue, I go different ways every time, she literally tries to eat everything, I'm talking 4-5 times every single walk, her nose sniffs out waste discarded food, people are just filthy, it winds me up. I get more angry at peoples dirtiness than I do at Daisy, I'm only thinking of her health.

There's no way in the world a Beagle would go in a back pack mate haha the walks for exercise for both of us and with my condition there's no way I could carry her on my back anyway and I would never muzzle her she isn't vicious, I only agree with muzzling dangerous dogs. ;)

She's just as bad on roads, no matter how many times we do the stop and wait, if I wasn't with her she'd happily wander out into the road.

Morning all, red sky in the morning here. Hope all are well and Mrs LT is feeling better @larbert toffee.
How’s the washing machine @Barnfred 55 ,have you figured out how it works yet?
Hope Daisy behaves herself today, @Terrarian.
Have a great day, everyone.
You know me too well Gadys. Ha ha. Yes. I got Sammy to give me a run through before they left. I'm pleased to report I have a healthy supply of clean smalls again. And no pics Sass. Sorry.

I’ve had about 9 wooden posts replaced over the years, Storm Arwen broke 3 as we are so exposed to the winds where we live. Im setting a trend as concrete posts are unheard of up here, and it’s the first time the guy who’s doing it has used them. Fingers crossed it looks good in the end and the obligatory photo, hopefully finished today. B81FFB90-F3C0-41CF-98F3-D2429B7F962E.jpeg
