Mulch or collect Roydo?
At least your honest. The cuttings? In someone else’s bin late at night just before the bin lorry comes.
Here's another Rosie song I remember from my childhood sung by Don Partridge who was very literally a one man band.Sweet Rosie”, my Grandad used to sing a song about Sweet Rosie. Well done to you and Mrs J. bringing those dogs over from Romania, a really generous thing to do.?
Nice, you are also going have to take a pic and show us your ancient meadows and your orchards sometime. Our cottage was built on ancient farmland after WW2, to house blokes returning from war to get the farms going better. So the farmer built it on the farmland. Cows and sheep graze on the rest of the meadow/field over the back fence.
Front is just meadow grass, back is mainly an orchard, planted at the same time the place was built.

I always use the mulching bar on my petrol mower and leave the fine cutting as a nutrient for the lawn and it saves a lot of time. The cuttings? In bags, down the recycle tip tomorrow.

Whole lotta Rosie. I have seen this live twice, once in the RDS Dublin and in Wembley. Brilliant
Sounds like you have lovely surroundings. No photo phone me.
The valley we live in is pretty much at/below sea level, so the Romans built a system of rhynes, (small rivers) to drain it for farming. They are still here, and ultimately drain into the River Severn. Farming started then, and we, well I, live in a house just a few yards above the reclaimed farmland.
So pretty ancient. The local pub was the village prison in the 1600's. Glad its a pub now.

I wonder if there are ghost at that bar ?
That's so kind of you and Mrs J. That second pic really shows what a lovely face she has got.She will be about Tintins size. Fairly big.
There is a chronic problem with strays in Romania and Bulgaria and the rescue help and take some from a tiny littel sanctuary when they have room.
Last year we ( me and Mrs J ) paid to bring 3 over.
The journey over is by road and takes 3 days , usually about £400 per dog. It gives them a chance of a life they wouldn't have over there. She only arrived on Friday.
Already she is inquisitive but very calm.
