The valley we live in is pretty much at/below sea level, so the Romans built a system of rhynes, (small rivers) to drain it for farming. They are still here, and ultimately drain into the River Severn. Farming started then, and we, well I, live in a house just a few yards above the reclaimed farmland.

So pretty ancient. The local pub was the village prison in the 1600's. Glad its a pub now.

And you would me more than welcome. @Barnfred 55 can confirm the town I live near is ace, the actual village I live in nearby is brill. All 7 miles from Bristol. The 2nd best City in England.

edit. And dont worry. I will show you the seat to avoid.

No pics- Kiss Wembley Arena 83, Donington festival 88 with Maiden and Roses. Sadly 3 died in a terrible crush when GnR came on. Kiss in Dublin 2010, AC/DC in Dublin I think 1980 and Wembley 2009 Maiden again in Dublin 2005.

I also enjoyed Status Quo live - Parfitt RIP- in Dublin I think in 1980. It was titled their "Farewell Tour" :)

I have read plenty of your post about Bristol being a great city that really makes me want to visit. My retirement dream would be to travel to all over the world and go visit cities such as Bristol.
