Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I found this great clip of them playing The boys are back in town live. I like them!

Cheers Sass. Fabulous live performance although for once Phil's voice wasn't quite on the button at times. Yes I know I am probably being overcritical - it's the choir conductor in me :)

Looking at them in hindsight I think they were very similar on stage to KISS without the make up.

In other clips they used the same kind of smoke explosions and pyrotechnics.

Emerald still my favourite song, but they had so many.

I hope you can now spend some time enjoying one of the best rock bands ever

So sorry I never saw them live.

I have read plenty of your post about Bristol being a great city that really makes me want to visit. My retirement dream would be to travel to all over the world and go visit cities such as Bristol.
The south west of England is lovely. I have a great friend living near Weston super Mare.

Wells and Bath are also beautiful.

Little known fact, but the black marble used in renovating Wells Cathedral came from Kilkenny. It is actually polished limestone. The cathedral guide told me that! Have a close look at the front of the cathedral and you will see the dark limestone

I have seen landscapes of Ireland and it is also a gorgeous country. I too want to visit there. So much beauty to witness here on earth, but some humans are more interested in conquering space and other planets instead of saving ours

Nope. They have some special tarmac on it. And its hundreds of feet above us. Get more noise from tractors on the lane.

But it was quite a feat of engineering. The 2 tiered road, then had to go through a large hill, so they just chopped the top of the hill off.
I used to make concrete shuttering for olts of motorway bridges ,it was the way they made motorways to take a hilltop and put it in the next valley simply speaking .

OK Rosie Report.

She was perfect on her 1st night.

She slept all night. After 5 minutes in her new basket she joined Tintin on the bed .

No mess , no crying.

This morning she is very playful and inquisitive and generally getting on Tintins nerves but that's what puppies do.

He will soon put her in her place! The only thing she hasn't adjusted to is stairs. We don't think she has ever seen them and has to be carried up and down them.

As I type Rosie is lying with her head on Tintins paws , so sweet.

Very cold today but promises to be be beautiful.

Back feels a bit better so after doing mum's weekly shopping I will do a gentle gym session.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all, hope you are all in good form and have a pleasant week ahead.

@jazzy Rosie didn’t take long settling in!

Just read Lampard’s words on the ‘testicular fortitude’ of certain players. Can’t help but think this will either promote a raging response or an even worse display. There is no middle ground in response to such a strong calling out by your manager in any type of work.

Morning guys, feeling very dejected today, this bunch of players disgust me, no heart whatsoever.

I am on the edge right now, seriously considering knocking football on the head, I don't know about you lot but i don't find it enjoyable in the slightest and watching us is an actual chore.

The amount of games I turn off in disgust or avoid altogether is rising all the time, in an age where I have access to all our games I find myself watching less and less.

Lovely day here again, be a nice walk. Here is Daisy with some different pals lol

Forget football think Daisy!

Good morning all. Tory Frank has won me over! Loved that he said what we all have been thinking for ages. Some of these players have seen off four or five managers. It can't just be the manager's fault.(Benitez excepted). Anyway enough football. Thin Lizzy were exceptional. So glad Rosie had a good first night and that she seems to have made friends with Tintin. Thanks also for the Daisy pic. Not much to report. I did watch the new David Attenborough thing on BBC2 last night. Dynasties 2. About a family of pumas in Patagonia. Well worth a watch. Next week is about elephants - my second favourite wild animals. Son and girlfriend are visiting at the weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing them. Catching up with friends for an Indian on Thursday. We're going to South Shields which is famous in these parts for quality Indian restaurants at very reasonable prices.

Morning all, frosty start here which hasn’t done the magnolia bushes round here much good. Shame because they were starting to put on quite a show due to the recent mild weather. Good to hear Rosie is settling in and your back is easier @jazzy Enjoy your walk with Daisy @Terrarian, I agree about the football it can get you down, every time you start to think things are improving by the next game it makes you wonder whether they’ve even seen a football before! I always keep in mind the players don’t let it ruin their day so I don’t let it ruin mine. @fandjango glad to hear your walk improved your mood, walking is great therapy and it’s freelol. Have a brilliant day everyone.
