Have a great day buddyMorning all.
Yet another gorgeous day , but the garden really does need some rain but none in the forecast.
Didn't know the clocks had gone forwards so there goes my lay in.
Usual Sunday yoga class this morning and then test my back with some gardening.
Can't work out if I like or loathe a non Premier league weekend. On the one hand there's no Everton defeat to ruin it but on the other hand no football to look forward to.
Watched 10 minutes of the England game last night and was bored stupid , international football does nothing for me.
A week has gone already since Rosie joined the family, she's landed on her paws that one. She's cuddling her brother as I write this.
Have a lovely day everyone.
thanks mate , you tooHave a great day buddy
Morning team
Hoping you’re all well
Bit disappointed here I’ve been in Riyadh too long and looking forwards to getting home next Friday night …. Now my daughter “ she who must be obeyed “ got a letter from my consultant that they want to see me for a biopsy on Tuesday next week …. I suggested putting it off a few weeks …. Sheeesh I don’t know who taught my daughter those words but it looks like I’m staying with her for a few days in my way home
Lol don’t get me wrong I know it makes sense and with my continuing concern about my back it gives them a chance to have a proper look at what’s happening
But oh my the language ? it started with you stupid old man and progressively declined to the ground floor
She who must be obeyed wants the best for daddy, so I agree with her it would be wise for you to get the biopsy completed on your way to Spain. Plus the perk of it is that you get to see your girls ?Morning team

I agree. International friendlies are the most tedious form of football. I like the competitions Euros, World Cup but I have zero emtionial investment in them....unlike I do with Everton.Morning all.

It is so nice that Rosie is getting along with all the family and Tintin has welcomed her too. Unfortunately the same harmony hasn’t been happening at our household. Reese our old cat still resents that we adopted Fresca and has become a grumpy old cat (even though he is only six) he growls all the time at Fresca even if she is not doing anything at him. But she is also sassy like her new mama and doesn’t let him bully her either, so this week when it was raining (we have had the share of rain you haven’t) and I was trying to dry him, he hissed at me (although he does that out of habit because he is always bee super sweet and tolerant) and she snapped at him and they got into a cat fight. It was super upsetting and as I was trying to break it I got bitten and scratched in the processMorning all.

Ange, sounds like your and your new growing family had a great time this weekend. It is so nice getting to know your children’s partners even better during such gatherings, plus I bet it comforts your heart seeing your kids happy with their love ones.Good Morning all. It's a lovely sunny day here. It's been a lovely weekend having son and his girlfriend visiting. We did the barbecue yesterday afternoon so daughter's boyfriend could come as well. It was good fun and I'm enjoying seeing my children settling into new relationships with people who, as far as I can see, are nice people.
@Sassy Colombian you might want to get checked out by your doctor - do you need a tetanus shot. Cat bites are very infectious and carry all kinds of germs.
The planting continues - we've put the potatoes in the containers (first earlies apparently -accordingly to daughter's boyfriend. We have second earlies for a few weeks time) and I've got a gooseberry bush to plant. just trying to work out where to put it.
Looks yummy, for those of us who are meat eaters. What does lingonberry taste like? They way they look they remind me of cranberries. For @Barnfred 55 :- Reindeer stew with mashed spuds and lingonberry.View attachment 160253
