Holgate is a young player just back after being away on loan, he should be guided by senior players like Keane but Michael needs a lot of help himself. I’m not a fan of Keane, l am a bag of nerves watching him, he has no awareness of what is going on around him, slow to react, like last night’s opening goal, and poor effort trying to head the ball away for the second. I could go on and on about the mistakes he makes in every game, Zouma bailed him out on many occasions last season and he was lucky teams never cashed in on other errors. You could point that he must be doing something right because he has been selected for the England squad again, I’m afraid I just don’t rate him.

...i’m sure that under different circumstances, Brands would’ve permanently moved him on but we failed to secure Zouma or another CB on transfer deadline day. He’s only here because we are paper thin in central defence, although I imagine Brands will look to resolve that situation in January.

Keane was really good on Saturday, won a lot in the air as well.
Proper piped everyone down, evident by no post on here moaning for 4 days
