Definitely, I also know Everton wanted Zouma in the summer, I also think Zouma is much better than Michael Keane and better than Mina, just my own opinion of course, I remain optimistic that Everton will go for Zouma in January, if not another centre back is surely needed by then.

Played really well for England today, good stuff.

All about opinion,but for me the few times Bulgaria attacked he looked a bit lost and out of position,he's improved quite a bit,but for me not good enough if we want to break the top six.

Not sure that he is right there yet, defending looking good but forward distribution could be better than back or sideways passing.

Mina will be the best of the lot after this season and in the PFA team of the year.

He needs a partner with pace, could well be Zouma but perhaps Brands can bring in someone superior...

Id like Zouma to return, however there are other centre backs who could be improved under Silva with more ability and potential.

Defences dont need to have pace if they play well together as a unit.

However, if we are playing a high line and theres a ball over the top, would you be more comfortable with a player slow on the turn (Keane) or a much more athetic player chasing down the ball before an opposition forward?

Ideally you want two physical beasts with fantastic positioning and communication skills able to work as a unit.

Not sure about that, if aything it was Maguire that looked lost for England.

Thing is with the top 6 thing, its not just about him, its about the side as a unit, if Keane isnt good enough to help us brake top 6 then Mina isnt and Zouma definitely isnt.

Lets be honest if Chelsea do bin him off in January its because he wasnt good enough, if he wasnt good enough for them he isnt good enough for us.

Agree on the unit thing, this is why Keane is good for us, he works well in the unit that includes Pickford, can see why Southgate wants him out there for England.

Whilst I agree, our Zouma is better than Chelsea's Zouma. He took months to settle here though, will they give him enough time? They might be forced to because of the ban. But albeit different times, Chelsea have hardly been great in offloading players that have proved to be more than good enough for them.

not at all, mina doesn't have "pace" but I'd say he's comfortably best out of all 3

I just think zouma and keane are about the same ability wise, but if I had to pick I would pick zouma

Yeah but our Zouma, Chelsea's Zouma, what have we got they haven't got ? Michael Keane.
This is what some just refuse to see, he was good for us because of Keane. Have no doubt Silva knew this, since Keane was the only one of the three he didnt bench.
