He seems to play entirely on the soles of his feet.

....it means he’s planted like a tree. Amazing really how often he stands like that when a forward runs at him. I’d love to see a GiF of that forward going past him in the box, because i’m sure he just totally gives up, throws his head in the air when he’s beaten.

If I was an opposing Manager, i’d be telling my players to have ‘a go at him’. If I was an opposition striker, i’d be looking forward to playing Everton like a kid looks forward to Christmas. I genuinely can’t ever remember a CB who plays with such an uncompetitive demeanour, even the worst give you a good kicking.

But, the way that Keane defends those situations is atrocious, and he does it ALL of the time.

After seeing the incident, its not on. To the letter of the law possibly it's a pen, accidental but he stood on him. However, there is no way that decision is given any other season. It was not clear and obvious by any stretch of the imagination. We have been done by a ref sat in a studio.

I think we have grounds for complaint. That's never ever going to be given without a slow mo replay.

The use of VAR and the people using it is atrocious.

But Keane's an idiot for giving them the opportunity to do so.

Not only the decision but VAR in general, the time it takes for a decision to be made it can take minutes, momentum is lost...

As for Keane, some grimacing and gurning from him would benefit his detractors...

Not for us. But I’d say that before he fell off a cliff Williams was a more talented and versatile defender than Keane has ever shown

Seemed to look like Brighton were targeting him. A lot of the time when they won possession they immediately launched it over his head for a runner. They knew well it'd take him five minutes to even turn around.

Keane trod on his foot, okay the fall was dramatic but no question for me was a penalty. If that had happened to Richarlison in their area would you shout PEN.
