When? Seriously though, he was diabolical for all of 17/18. Had a few decent games in 18/19 but we still weren’t up to much. As soon as Zouma left he was awful in 18/19 until Carlo came in. He had a bit of decent form back end of last season. He’s been ok at times this season but has cost us hugely recently.

Man mountain? Once or twice in my mind from a player we laid 30 million for.

Honestly the bar is set so low for this lad. He puts in a display that Jags or Lescott would have done on one of their off days and people are raving about it. Why are the standards so low. He’s nowhere near good enough.

He has these runs of games when hes very good. Lockdown last year and the start of this season. But then his confidence goes and you get runs of games like this.

Absolutely shocking tonight. Carlo, nor any other manager can do nothing when your yard dog centre back, who cant run, has 2 free headers which he places perfectly to their only threatening player 6 yards from goal.

He's a mental midget. Is what it is. Said it when he was 'on form' - it doesn't matter because he's soft mentally and as soon as he faces the tiniest amount of adversity, this is what happens.

He's one of those odd players who would actually look OK in really good sides, because he's a confidence player. But for a side trying to get to that level, he's a complete liability.

If we can mug off a lower half Prem side for a decent fee, we should be all over it. And he'd be an Ashley Williams-esque flop to whatever one of those clubs he goes to.

Playing alongside holgate doesn't help anyone. But keane overall isnt doing it for me. Hopefully replaced next season or at least move godfrey to center back and drop keane to back up.

Yes he was, especially before his cruciate injury but even after that for a long time. He used to be able to boss Torres even at the peak of his powers. Lescott was brilliant also. Distin and Stones slightly more prone to error but also very very good. Even Heitinga played very well at times for us.

Keane is nowhere near any of them. Nowhere near.

That's a bit generous to Heitinga come on. Keane is a solid defender but tonight he and Holgate had 2 clangers. He will bounce back from this

Put Holgate next to Mina and watch Mina struggle.

Keane aint great but if you have a CB partner who doesnt communicate then you can make mistakes particularly if you aint Maldini which Keane certainly is not.

Like a lot of our players over the season they are just not consistent enough. Until we sign more players like Godfrey, Doucoure , Allan and James we will just be a mid table team.

Heitinga was player of the season in 11/12. By what metric is Keane a solid defender? Is solid another word for severely limited who looks ok if we play so deep we’re almost on the goal line and the fullbacks never get forward? Then yeah he’s solid.

Keane aint great but if you have a CB partner who doesnt communicate then you can make mistakes particularly if you aint Maldini which Keane certainly is not.

Honestly going to a back 3 hurt him and he doesn't seem to have any chemistry with Holgate.

Still get nightmares about that backpass in the Derby... But yes, streets ahead of Keane.

Jagielka also reinvented himself after that too. I remember him playing half fit in that semi final at Wembley and he was good. I also remember him in one derby 0-0 when they were flying under Klopp, and he must have made 10+ interceptions and volleyed balls away.

Mentally, miles better than Keane.

Normally boss. Not boss. Between him and holgate losing their collective marbles on two occasions we lost the game. More disappointed with holgate than Keane this season.
