....never convinced by the partnership with Mina, they are adequate individually but we concede too many goals.
As well as the lack of mobility and pace, Keane isn’t dominant or aggressive enough for my liking as a CB so he needs somebody alongside who provides the things he lacks. He’s been fine this season but I have not hidden that I’m not convinced by him.

I have to say, although I do not like to criticize players, but he is a terrible player. Constantly wrong body position, easily loses reference to his opponent, and makes bad choices with the ball in our build-up play. Ok duel player, but limited in all other phases of the game.
I'm not and have never been a fan of Keane. He's too passive and not aggressive enough.

When he’s at his absolute best he can be a decent centreback. When he’s not though he’s poor. I’d rather bite the billet and give Holgate and Godfrey a run of games because Keane and Mina were letting in 2 a game anyway .
