Was Coady really that bad in the few matches before Keane replaced him?

I didn’t think so at the time, he definitely wasn’t this bad.

Had a couple of poor ones like, but nothing on the level of this.

He is an utter wagon. Our defence has gone to absolute shat since he walked back into the team.

I can't for the life of my get why Coady or Mina aren't playing. A fit Mina is the best defender we have, and he scores, too.

Coady wasnt great for three or four games when Dyche first arrived, however even back then we had less goals conceded per game, and slightly better point(s) per game! At least Coady is vocal, the only time Keane was vocal last night was when he was was trying to claim it wasn't a penalty!
I know Mina is made of glass but he needs to be playing, while he can, alongside Tarkowski these last four games. If Mina declares himself not fit enough (again) it surely has to be Coady!
Not a great look for Dyche if he persists with his old boys network I'm afraid!

There is other CB available…How can we play a CB to make error again and again. I have suffered him in last season and wish him to be loaned out in Jan. Now, he is just a nightmare for any PL club. If we were relegated, he must be someone who need to take the responsiblility.

Seems Coady has been dropped for two months for Buendia sending him for a hot dog for that second Villa goal.

It's one of the few major errors Dyche has hot wrong but I don't see him changing things at this late stage, time to bring Coady back in was after Fulham.

I think the point is on the player managemnt. You should not start a player who makes mistakes game by game. It can’t motivate your bench and starting player to keep their best on the ground.
Just like Dyche changed from Coady to Keane at the beginning. Then, Keane makes some good stuff at the moment. Now or before, Dyche should change Keane to the others to push the squad.

It's the ball over the top, it's the inability to show a striker one way and howneasy he gets turned. The inexplicable way he kicks it out of play, the way when he's clearing the ball with his head he seems to just head it straight to the opposition, it's the constant panic he causes in his own back line.

Yep, he made a mistake for Liverpools 2nd where he let it run past him and the Villa goal. Apart from that, there's no way he hasn't got a better relationship with Tarkowski.

It's disgraceful management of simply picking your favourite and being so stubborn that your not willing to change.

Put Coady or Mina in that backline last night and there'd be nowhere near the amount of panic this fella causes.
