Also another factor that isn't really discussed , I know Coady had a dismal run of games before he was replaced, but when he initially arrived I thought he offered some composure and structure along with a presence on the pitch, which mina could offer too. Keane is an incredibly meek individual, I feel especially during final run of games deeply engulfed in a relegation battle you need vocal and engaged players who can galvanize others, mina and coady offer something in that regard and we just lost Coleman who despite his skills fading always exuded passion and effort towards the game. Keane is just so docile and seems to lack the fight needed in this crucial time that could decide whether we retain our status within the premier league

Keane is shocking. Cody is mediocre. Mina is the best out of the 3 of them but us made of glass. Godfrey and Holgate aren't up to starting as centre half's in the Premier league.

Keanes form is at the point were he will give goals, stupid pens away. He needs dropping to see if another player can come in and solidify things.

Given the alternatives I've always thought he was one of our better CH's. That said he is very much a confidence player. He hasn't been helped by the garbage in front of him - but he has made quite a few mistakes. He's an easy target though - but we and Dyche are all in on him so it's time to back him. It's not all down to him if we get beat. Tarks has hardly been great and yet he seems to avoid criticism. Myko has been arguably even worse. We need to shield the defence better and our forwards need to start scoring. It's quite a simple game footy - score more than the other team and you win.

I think Keane is a very limited central defender who is, currently, all over the place. Pay no attention to the odd goal he scores, his defensive frailties more than wipe them out over a period of games. The big problem for me is, Keane doesn't keep picking himself, the fault lays squarely with the manager, he not only steadfastly refuses to take Keane out of them firing line, he actually says at a press conference, after a game in which we had been beaten 4:1 at home, that Keane was the best player on the park until we conceded... Honestly, deluded or stubborn, it doesn't really matter, the end result will be the same.

Dyche is hardly likely to criticise any individual player by name in his press conference.

Concur. Would not trust Mina for the run in however. 50 50 and he is backing out, certain to be eyeing his next transfer
of course he would be when keane is getting picked ahead of them. in saying that he is not reliable fitness wise and I would have him on a transfer list in the summer.

in saying that I would also have keane on the transfer list due to ability and consistent mistakes.

Some of the pile on is undeserved, I accept that, and may be self defeating. I also agree there are other players deserving of as much flak as Keane.

We can be frustrated with the inconsistency from dyche though, and that’s why Keane is getting it in the neck. You can forget coady, there is also Mina and Dyches fitness excuse, even though Keane was not playing and no where near match fit, but shoehorned in at the earliest opportunity.
The criticism of Keane is fully deserved as much as it would be any other player, but I agree context is everything and we weren’t great anyway before he come back into the team. I would also say the criticism whilst directed at Keane is as much an indirect criticism of Dyche’s decision making around him. He should be dropping players who are a risk, or out of form and should be looking at different partnerships. Maybe Dyche is just belligerent and does not like the criticism so digs his heels in

Well I would have Keane on the transfer list at the end of the season too. Mina, however, is out of contract at the end of the season, so...no transfer list for him.
