2024/25 Michael Keane

I mean he did get completely done by the slowest feint on Earth from Welbeck. Flat-footed.

These are subtle little things that people don’t notice because they aren’t outright howlers. His body shape is never right, he’s never ready to turn, can’t anticipate what an opposing striker is about to do or where they’re about to run. The end result is the same as if he boots one in his own net, a goal.

Yeh it was bad, amateur stuff really, but like you say isn't as easily noticeable. Can't let someone do you that easy edge of your own box.

It was like the 2 central defenders had never played a game together, absolutely amateurish by Keane and Tarkowski both of them were horrendous in Saturdays abysmal performance.

Saturday was on Dyche, Keane isn’t picking himself for the starting 11. Keane shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting 11, especially when you have a young shiny new £17mill cb sitting on the bench.

Dyche has thrown away the first three points of Goodison last season, and his post match comments are ridiculous.

Keane makes every player around him worse, including the keeper. It’s no shock we are a much better and more organised defensive unit when he isn’t there - this was proven last season, but the gaffer has already forgotten.

Sure Keanes a sound fella and seems a nice honest lad, but he’s been a liability for years and has been finished as a cb for longer, same with Holgate.

Danny welbeck must have thought all his Christmas’s had come at once after seeing Keane playing.

Dyche deserves all the stick he gets and half empty stadiums at 70mins, if he keeps him in the side or squad - same with young and holgate.

I did notice it, it was horrendous.

Point still stands, Gana gives it away, nobody closed down Wellbeck.

I can't stand Keane, but blaming him for the goal if daft. Tarkowski was just as bad, argugably worse, on Saturday.

I think the vast majority notice .

10 PL starts when Dyche came in.

20 goals conceded.

He should never have any role in our club after that debacle.

It’s all in the head with Keane, Peter Reid was slow but in his head he was two seconds ahead of most players in the game and could anticipate the play, Keane is always two seconds behind the game and anticipates nothing until it is too late, he will never change. Put him on the bench and use him up front if necessary where he can do no harm to Everton but might snatch a goal or two for us!
