It makes me wonder if Koeman is going to play it safe and give most of the time to Holgate and Martina. To his credit, Holgate has been solid defensively and could hold down the fort with Coleman down (would prefer to have a winger in front of him though). Kenny looks more like a modern day fullback and I would hope he does well with his opportunities. It would be nice to have three competent defenders on the ball, and Kenny looks more comfortable at RB.

He took holgate off for Kenny in one of the last fixtures of the season, mentioning how how Kenny had made a big difference to our attacking play. I'm pretty sure he would have featured in the last 2 league games of the season.

And I'm hopeful he can impress in pre session and start the 1st game v stoke, deserves a chance

Holgate is ordinary at RB. May turn out to be a better CB but it is early. At times you need experience.
