Williams did well last season. We conceded 11 fewer goals than the season before. He deserves some credit for that.
Was that not more down to our style of play changing though last season. I was made up when we bought him. But just thought he wasn't as good as I expected.

It was down to a number of factors but he was one of them. He was better defensively than Stones.
Yeah defo better than Stones defensively. Stones isn't a great defender in my opinion.

The funny thing is a lot of the media has been linking him with United and Liverpool over and over again and we have come along and steped in. For me this one signing alone shows how much things have changed, almost landmark, we can now go after players those teams ahead of us also want and we will at times get them
