What's happened to him?
Actually, one positive of the possibility of Dyche coming in is that he'd probably get him playing well again.
Nothings happened to him mate, besides for showing that certain players look better in certain systems, at Burnley they sat deep organised in numbers and he had a reliable partner alongside, here he has none of that and looks a calamity.
Whilst not having a solid cha partner isn't helping neither is his confidence going in the tank.
But he can't defend in space, looks unsure on decision making and when not a drilled set unit his decision making looks appalling.
As for the dyce shout, I'd rather not have to hire a manager purely based on the fact he plays turgid football which covers for average players.
Same thing we are seeing now btw with Keane was shown last season with Gibson at Boro once they sacked karanka and opened up a bit.
All in all we had one shocker of a window, overpaid for overhyped players, and pickford and a couple of the young ones aside, we haven't got the quality we thought we where buying.
The spurs bale comparison is very valid.
Onyekuru, vlasic, lookman, gueye maybe sandro and for sure pickford will either work out for us or at least not lose money for us.
Sigurdsson, Rooney, Klassen, Schneiderlin, Keane, atm every one of them looks like we'd take a huge loss on if we moved on, and with us paying big wages for them all, we have probably ensured they won't be able to be sold on even. As the teams interested wouldn't be able to match the wages they are on, so we possibly have 4-5 seasons for them all having to play them regardless of if they are good enough, or having to perma loan them out like we did with Yobo, heitenga and shandy Andy situations all over again.
Should honestly have cost more than Koeman his job this mess.
