Can't believe it's been nearly two weeks now.
I don't reckon he'll pull through.
Or if he does, he'll be brain damaged.

I'm not a doctor so hopefully I'm wrong

Does anyone know where to get accurate news about him? Everything just seems to be speculation and jarg from what I've seen.

Has been in a coma for an awfully long time, you have to wonder how that will have affected his brain, muscles, vital organs etc.

The news has been kept intentionally quiet about him so it would be a lot better/worse than any of us know...

It was reported a few days ago that he was responding with blinks after being slowly brought out of his induced coma.

However, it's a dangerous process in itself & there's a possibility of him slipping into a natural coma.

Assuming he does come fully round, the odds are he'll have a very long road back & it's highly unlikely that he'll ever be the man he was before the accident.

Yeah I think that's pretty much been confirmed already. You can't be put in a five-week coma and come out of it able to make a full recovery.

Interesting to see what happens though and how quickly he is able to partially recover, there appears to be no end in sight of this coma!

Er, you can be put into a medically induced coma and make a full recovery, Schumacher is in an induced coma due to head injury, his likelihood of coming out of this coma without an acquired brain injury is very slim.

Not looking good, don't know much about medically induced comas, but its seems he had suffered from massive brain damage.

He's still unable to breathe for himself and is on a ventilator. He's in a vegetative state and his family appear to be tragically deluded as to what would appear to be the obvious outcome at this point, given the time elapsed since his accident.

Had this been Joe Bloggs then I suspect the machine would have been turned off by now...

I find it hard to feel alot of sympathy for him, would not wish what has happened on him, but he endangered a few drivers life's when he was on the track, nearly put Barrichello in the wall at 200mph about 4 years ago deliberately.

Hope he gets better but it's not looking good.
