I was in the kop that game couldn't get a ticket for the Annfield Rd. When she ran on I thought she had a black pair of knickers on but when she turned round there was a bare bum. I don't think she had shaved for a while..Was that the girl who ran to the corner flag ? Most of the crowd near me were straining there necks trying to see where she put the corner flag.
It is also my greatest gameStill my favourite Goodison game that(even ahead of Bayern!!),I know you will think I am mental, but as a thirteen year old mad Evertonian in a school infested with RS,that game meant the world
Wow!!!,suddenly I feel old!!,there may well have been greater players but his commitment to our cause back in the fitful days of the 1970's early 1980's was unparalleled in my humble opinion,Happy Birthday Mick!!
Fans salute Mick Lyons, an Everton legend like no other
Fans have been saluting former Everton player Mick Lyons on his 70th birthdaywww.liverpoolecho.co.uk
Yep,that was my first derby, a taste of things to follow, doh!!!I remember him scoring a perfectly good header against the RS at Goodison only for it to disallowed. Alan Waddle shinned one in for them in the dying minutes. Nothing changes
and Clive Thomas and Frank Lampard SnrYeah, would have loved to have seen him win a trophy here.
One of the reasons I hate Aston Villa!

This game, mate?My Mick Lyons highlight….the diving header through a sea of legs at the Park End v Leeds circa 1974.
I think Jimmy Case scored to make it Two-One, giving us a nervy last ten minutes or so.FA Cup match derby in '81: Mick stamping on Jimmy Case's legs when he was on the floor.
Should have broken them and then jumped on his face.
