Middle aged Man problems

Middle age is a mixed bag innit ….. your kids have left home, you get more free time , hopefully get to keep more of your own money etc … but with middle age comes a host of other problems.. one being the following…

Why does the hair on your head stop growing but the hair in your ears , your nose and your eyebrows grows like a jungle ??
Back ache. Can't read my phone without glasses. Re-pointing walls..

It was the 'a cricket ball' - singular, that worried me.

And on that note, there's more than one reason we middle-aged me sit down slower...

I can’t sleep a full night without getting up to pee at least once.

Happend to me a year or so ago in a boozer down the road meeting a few the lads. Sat down too quick on a wooden bench on my left nut. Followed by a high pitched groan and slow teary collapse on to my side. Course the lads had to tell the whole bar and ended up with the name big balls for a while so happy enough with that rather than saggy balls

Just found out my cholesterol is up so recommend a statin.

I’ve never had any health issues been very lucky. I know it’s because I’ve been eating a load of crap for a few months, pastries, cakes and love my butter and eggs.

Usually do enough exercise to counter it but hadn’t done much for a couple of months until started running again end of January.

Getting older sucks.

Anybody here on statins? I’ve said I’ll take them for 3 months to get my cholesterol back down along with eating more sensibly and I’m exercising again now.

Anybody here on statins?

Lipitor (Atorvastatin) meself...mainly due to my kidney issue affecting my heart as well so doc is being precautious. As of a teleconference with my nephrologist yesterday, my condition has been holding steady for basically almost a year now so I'm hoping to make it to a transplant (typically 3-5 years without a living donor) without eventually needing dialysis.
