We were lucky to get nil.

Nah mate we were unlucky to get Nil,
some days they clip the keepers heel and shave the outside of the post
and
some days they clip the keepers heel and nestle just inside the post.

Lookman had 3 half chances, that's what the keepers there for

Boro not known for conceding a lot.

Where we are at the moment we will draw more of these than we win
Hopefully this time next season we will be winning more of them.

Voted for the big goofy fella in nets myself;)lol, barring his error for the second goal at Hull he's been great, strong, commanding in the box, decision making in knowing when to come out for crosses has improved massively, the save near the end from Gestede was fantastic.

Went Davies myself, based on the title MotM, all the match; Robles made a top draw key save, but didn't have too much to do.
still, opinions innit.

Roles has grown into the No.1 spot. Liking him at the moment. Valencia and Lennon were anonymous. Our back two were terrible in their reading of the game, and their distribution. Williams stupid long aimless chips constantly invited pressure. We look a better unit with 3 at the back, & probably should of done so.

Poor game, and it was Baltic up there ffs. I sat in the home end and there was a bloke near me just wearing a short sleeved Boro shirt!

What was up with Mirallas? I thought Lookman was largely ineffective and Lukaku was isolated until he brought Valencia on. Schneiderlin looks a class act though and Mori had a good game imo.

Robles was brilliant but i went for our Leighton.

He stepped in countless times to stop traore. Showed him inside to a congested midfield when he needed to. One thing i would say in relation to Baines is he does miss Pienaar, every time he goes forward he ends up coming back due to little support. What happened to mirallas yesterday ?

I thought yesterday shows that we still have some way to go in obtaining a real winning mentality.

Rom is a great finisher but he is a confidence striker. Scores within 30 seconds against Bournemouth and then after that you bet him to score every time he gets a chance. Yesterday, Valdes made a save, nothing wrong with that, you can't score all of your chances but it's his reaction he needs to work on. It was bitterly cold, shocking conditions and I just think, after he missed that first chance, he thought to himself "don't fancy this today". The right reaction is to keep on working until you get your reward.

An example would be when he was running through on goal in the second half. He just lacked the decisiveness we are used to and tried to pass it to Barkley when the pass wasn't really on. It was similar to Bournemouth when he just bulldozed his way through for his fourth. The difference is confidence.

Last week he was asked if he felt he would score a few against Bournemouth and he said he felt it driving to the ground. He needs to think like that every week because he has got the ability to rip any team apart.

Poor decision making as well. In the second half the ball fortuitously drops to Coleman in the Boro box. Rom and Valencia are in the box and he plays it in without even looking up. Not surprisingly, nothing comes of it and Boro clear it. That is just poor and happens too often, bit of composure when it matters.

Body language in general was poor yesterday. Baines strolling over to take a throw with no urgency. Just got the impression, if with half an hour to go you had said to the players, call it a 0-0 draw and we will get off, they would have accepted it. Weather was absolute shocking but if we want to move forward and challenge the top 6, we have to treat every match like a cup final.

Bad conditions yesterday but the players were falling over like it was an ice rink.

That was the most negative thing about yesterday, apart from failing to score.

That was a very good first XI to start the game......but those two coming on from the bench was a real kick in the clinks.

Why was Mirallas not on the bench yesterday.....is he injured?

Mirallas had a slight knock I believe. Heard rumours of him being a doubt earlier in the week so assume that was the case.

We need a big window both in terms of numbers and quality come the summer.

Valdes is a bit of a flapper, but he's one of the best one on one keepers I've seen. He was phenomenal at then for barca. Barca didn't give up many chances but when they did they were often clear cut ones. And Valdes save them on hundreds of occasions.
It's nice to see him doing well in a completely different environment to Barca. Sometimes you don't know how good a player is until they leave their comfort zone.

I thought he would have been a better option than Stekelenberg in the summer, but now that Joel is doing so well it doesn't really matter.

Tough game, not a bad performance but it just wasn't meant to be 3 points. We had our chances but Valdes denied them. A draw was fair imo.

Also, did our players play without studs? Proper slip-fest yesterday.
