well, okay then lets deal with the the too obvious I didn't think they had to be said facts, I would not be allowed to house someone coming here as an asylum seeker and if they are alowed to stay in this country then they will want to stay somewhere they can call home. People coming here have to put up with living in the worst accomodation we can find with less rights than prisoners, less access to regular food and often left incredibly vulnerable to violence. The process of even hearing their cases can take years. Often they are told to return to places they have fled without passports, and in some cases already under threat of their lives. So, they are unlikely to come here on a whim and they are not just swarmimg in unchecked. But, some are 'economic refugees' and shouldn't be allowed here. But the truth is that is most of our relatives arrived here, usually to fill a need for cheap skills and labour.
'We' is an organised, civilised nation that has the resources and the infrastructure to deal with and thrive with people coming here. It chooses not to. It just happens to be a situation where decency and common sense match up. Sorry for 'preaching' there. And as for 'doing something' you need to know what other people are involved in before you try winning an argument with bullying nonsense
