I know. I've never understood people feeling sorry for the Calais migrants. You'd think they were still in a war torn country the way people talk about them. Not bloody France.

It's for the best really. Czech's don't really have the letter v in any word, so I often watch vampire movies just to hear the Elmer Fudd style pronunciation (I say, safe in the knowledge that I regularly make a pigs ear of her language)

seriously it is getting quite weird. are you consulting on this? I read what you said, read the reply someone gave you, and now you have said something different as though you have a strange compulsion to win the argument and think no-one will notice you are arguing with things that weren't said. Not just you, so don't take it personally. Seems to be a group thing so possibly you have all been misled about how this goes

A stab at why these folk, not the ones in Calais, dont try their luck in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, or Egypt, is probably because to get there they would have to walk through a few hundred square miles of ISIS controlled land. Probably the very thing they are legging it from.

In the company of fellow countrymen perhaps. However, stick a melting pot of many nationalities of foreigner (living here) in a room together, and conversation will be predominantly in English.
