Did you watch the video of the refugees refusing food and water?

They all, together, threw the food onto the tracks. At 1:36, you can see a child accept some food from a female officer. The men then come along, shut the windows and tell the police where to go. The male refugees are willing to let their wives and children starve just so they can get to Germany, because Hungary "isn't good enough."

I'm very confident in saying that when all the refugees on that train are acting together, that they reflect all the refugees there.

I've watched it. I still think you're very out of touch with the reality these people are and have faced.

It doesn't in this context, families have travelled together to try and reach safety.
If the men didn't care about their families, they would have likely left them behind.

History and everyday life tells us that when people are placed under massive stress and in situations where they feel unsafe, they make seemingly irrational decisions and act abnormally.

Isn't the train an example of this?
Germany is seen as safe by these people whereas Hungary is not. So they've acted in a way seen as irrational to get to that safe place.

I have see pictures and videos of refugees refusing assistance until they arrive in Germany. You still have not answered my point that the refugees do not truly care about the families the are harming.

I think you're failing to consider the state and situation of the countries these people are arriving in and perhaps their mindset to these places.
Why stay in somewhere you don't know is safe and you don't know what future you might have where as in Sweden Germany e.t.c you know you'll at least have a chance to have a proper life and not be stuck inside a camp and mistreated. Perception is as important as reality to people.
