It's a stupid point to make, sorry. Regardless of what might or might not have been happening before a video, that does not excuse the actions during one.

I appreciate your attempt, but your entire post is just dismissing hard video evidence as "you don't know why it's happening". I do know why it's happening. They don't want to stay in Hungary, they want to go to Germany and they are willing to put the lives of themselves, their wives and their children at risk to achieve that.

How was it fleeing persecution? You seem to know exactly one might feel having to do so, I can only assume you've been there and done that.

The evidence you have presented, whilst upsetting and disturbing is a long way from depicting the full story. From it you have decided that one person cares not one iota for his family based on one action. Its conjecture. It also flies in the face of all rational thought. Still, it probably suits a certain narrative.

I think you'll find that sadly, in many families, especially those under Islam, the male makes the decisions and the wife must follow.

I have come across families. They are all different, I imagine that is true even under a religion and a country I don't personally know and suspect you don't

I know. I've never understood people feeling sorry for the Calais migrants. You'd think they were still in a war torn country the way people talk about them. Not bloody France.

Perhaps they speak English and not French and therefore feel that they can contribute, whilst bettering themselves and without fear of failure to integrate.

They'll be able to give you an actual answer as to a real reason why, instead of theorising on here. Could be a number of things.
Family, language to name a few. Maybe France doesn't have the same reputation for human rights and equality? The best answer you'd get is from those who are at Calais.

i find most migrant people tend to stay with their own dialect wherever they are.

If they are genuine refugees they will not be sent back. That's why they need to be processed. They will be well looked after in Hungary but they want to be in Germany. If Germany really wants them, just send planes and pick them up.....

But they arent thinking like that...
