Migrant Crisis

My friend, this is way beyond immigration policy. This is a full-blown humanitarian crisis and those people need our help.

Whatever happens, however many dark-skinned people are welcomed in in the name of common decency, Britain will survive it. But we really need to help some human beings right now.
and whatever people think even allowing them asylum is nowhere near the end of the problems they will face or the trauma they will go through. and we resent them help in case a few of the wrong people get through.

It would be far easier to set up a help network in Turkey than ship them all over Europe.

I get the feeling you're not willing to grapple with the realities of the situation. It is a massive, massive crisis. Real people like you and me. Not after your jobs or your women or your way of life, just asking for help in a time of horrific crisis. Asking you to at least try to understand.

The load needs to be shared. There are too many. We need to offer a helping hand. Who knows, mybe one day we'll neded one, too.

It's just common decency.

So send aid, like we do every other crisis.

And who would help us? No one.

To where? What is this "Aid"?

Like I noted, it's obvious you have no desire to grapple with the realities of this situation. I hope I never have to depend on you in any way.
I do, its been going on for a while and nobody cared until a picture of a dead toddler was shown on national telly. Now why are we treating it differently from any other humanitarian crisis?

Again. THIS IS NOT AN IMMIGRATION MATTER. IT IS A MASSIVE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS.

Some people need our help.

Not all of these people are genuine refugees. Many are economic migrants.

It is an immigration matter. Public services are already stretched as is housing. We have just had sky high Immigration figures announced a few days ago. We simply can't allow millions more in.

With your attitude, who could blame them.

I think these migrants have a worse attitude. Not taking water and food. Throwing rocks at the police. Welding weapons at Calais, threatening people.

If I were in danger and was offered help I would accept it. And I would be grateful.

.....nobody cared until a picture of a dead toddler was shown on national telly.....

1. Actually, many of us cared deeply way before that. You're just angry that lots more now suddenly care because of that pesky dead toddler.

2. Wow. How great do you sound right now? Take a look at yourself. You're refusing to help fellow human beings caught in a cirsis that you could never even imagine.

Seriously, how much skin is it off our noses to help some fellow human beings?
