I like Mikel but get the impression he‘ll manage like he played. Technical, lovely footballer, a bit tiki-taka. Given the position we’re in, that would worry me. As well as him no managing before and working in that brilliant City team where those ideas don’t really translate to here. Might be doing him a disservice but we need more ‘dogs of war’ attitude. Moyes until the season end and then Mikel. Change this clubs philosophy. Not in the middle of the season though.

Plus I love him way more than a 38 year old bloke should love a footballer.

Id love for him to get into the likes of schneiderat... watching him Trott back at the weekend Made me want to vomit. I don't want Moyes, but that Moyes team had players which would have ragged it out off him seeing him do that.

Cahill as part of the coaching team I am 100% behind.

What a lift an Arteta/Cahill duo would give this club.

Good cop/bad cop routine every match.

The players will be scared S&*%less.

Arteta would be boss I think and would obviously bring some interesting offensive ideas with him but I really think he'd need a wise head behind him for 12-18 months, someone with big manager experience and no threat to him who could guide him through some tough decisions dare I say like a Joe Royle.
