minor things that make you fume

I like a gin and tonic on a summer's day but when I pass a recently refurbished pub advertising 25 brands of gin to try I start to fume. These youngsters are just fodder for the big distillers who must think their Christmasses have come at once.
I thought the millennials were supposed to be smart?

It`s the same with " craft beers " mate.

Put a pop art logo on the bottle label / some graphic art, serve in a jam jar to a bellend with a beard, over sized glasses, kecks that are too short, turn ups and a pair of socks that a fiver year old girl would wear, then charge what you want.

There's definately a market for plain sandwiches, I've said it for years.

Why put sweetcorn in my tuna mayo? Why put mayo on my ham and cheese?

Why can't I just get a normal sandwich anywhere? And the places that do sell just tuna mayo or 'simply ham' run out so quick you're left with egg or ham salad.
The people in the sandwich industry are a reason for me being fat . Rather than a half healthy non mayo sarnie I grab a pork pie , sausage etc , I might put a claim in .

I quite like craft beers just not the extortionate prices that are deemed acceptable to charge for them!

Sticking my neck out here, however I'm convinced you'll more often than not be able to get a nicer and cheaper pint of ale within a short distance.

Like with any drink, craft ale is riding a wave of trendiness and for that a lot of the new locations are throwing money on top for atmosphere etc.

Also, some of the more trendy drinks are incredibly similar, if not worse, than the more local or common alternatives but much more expensive.

As a resident of that there London I can confirm that all of this is true. My housemates were only last week raving about ‘mushroom coffee’, which incidentally isn’t even made with coffee.

Have you thought about getting some magic mushrooms, dry them out, grind them into powder and then mix it with their mushroom coffee ?

It would certainly make for an interesting evening.

People telling lies, or more importantly people not putting any thought into the lies they tell. I work in a profession where there is an element of enforcement. People have to give accounts of what they have done, now I don't mind an elaborate storey which is difficult to pick holes in but it annoys me when they tell outright lies which are obviously not true.
Politicians do it all the time, they say things and then when what they have said doesn't suit their purpose they start this "it is being taken out of context" or "what I said is being misconstrued". Utter lies.

The one I like that politicians use is: "What we're saying is."

In other words, this is not necessarily the truth about our policy on this but merely a craftily worded statement that won't be cast up to us at a later date.
