minor things that make you fume

Frustrating - wait til the solicitors are involved.
It's all a con, the whole house moving fiasco. Estate agents, solicitors (who I know spin things out to justify their fee*), surveyors, the government all want their slice. Why do we fall for it?

Honest, you can pay the same for a boat or a car as you do a house, and none of those parasites need be involved apart from vat.

*Last time I moved I didn't bother with a surveyor - I looked over the house myself, with a mate who's in building control. Then I read up and acted as my own conveyancer. I did all the searches and all the paperwork. It took me less time to learn what to do and do it than it takes a solicitor to press print for their generic letters to be spat out of a printer. PLUS every time I've used a solicitor to move they always bugger off on holiday just after opening the case.

Why single out the solicitors for grief when the estate agents make three or four times as much from every house transaction for doing even less than the solicitors?

Surveyors are actually qualified professionals who perform a task. So are solicitors. Estate agents however are just shysters who charge a percentage for telling you information you can get from rightmove or zoopla.

When you see what looks like a nice t-shirt or jumper in a shop, only to take it off the rack and notice some huge stupid pattern on the back.
even worse when you don't notice it until you get it home. I got a grey tshirt from the Everton store with a nice subtle crest on it. Just what I wanted, something subtle. Got it home and it has Rooney 10 all over the back.
Only wear it at home now

Because estate agents anger me so much I can barely type about them! It's a dam you just don't want to prod!

Surveyors are fine .... Until you find they missed something, something fairly major. Then there's an army of water tight small print from their industry that means they're untouchable for recompense. Expensively pointless professionals.

I had a pal who bought a boat. His marine surveyor missed a major issue if corrosion about a sea cock. The boat sank a week later. The surveyor put it down to "it was alright on the day" and the insurers put it down to "foreseeable negligence". Both utter cockwombles evaded their responsibilities.

When you find a decent looking top and pull it out and it's an advertising billboard for some brand. Surely we should be paid by the company to wear such things?

Folk who protect the parking spot outside their house with traffic cones. I'm sure it's illegal but with no police seen in the area for years everyone gets away with stuff like that. They park on pavements, red lines, yellow lines etc unchecked.
They can`t do it mate, simple as that.

Just move the cones and park your car there, it`s a public road.
