minor things that make you fume

Colds.
When is someone going to invent a cure?
All week since Monday when I first detected that tell tale tickly throat, I've been waiting for it to kick in.
Of course it kicked in good style Friday night and all yesterday, overnight, and up to this moment I've been hanging out my arse with a snotty nose, congested sinuses, earache, sore throat, and a cough that rasps like a cactus. None of the over the counter meds are doing the trick so I'm resorting to whisky and milk. I'll have my first at 1630.

Somebody...doesn't matter who...was recently found not guilty. We need to adopt that 3rd Scottish verdict of 'Not Proven'...which means exactly what it says
But we all also know it doesn't mean innocent

Just sayin like.
In Scotland it is known as "that [Poor language removed] verdict". Victims dont get the satisfaction of guilty, the accused dont get the relief of not guilty. In theory it sounds reasonable, but the reality is no-one ever wants a not proven verdict

Contract managers who slash bonuses at work whenthey realise it will come out of their own end of year bonus, then accuse you as the section manager of fiddling the figures when you challenge him.

Greek delivery companies  Two parcels same company, both parcels are here on the island, same delivery address.Delivered one today.I asked where the other one was ..... 'Oh I forgot.I will bring it on Thursday when I am next in the area'
Bunch of carts.

The americans bringing their black friday bling consumerism disease over here. Swindon in gridlock this afternoon with zombie shoppers flocking to pseudo sales.

Sake.
Hang on M8 its not like they are evangelical shoppers or something! the Americans aren't responsible for Black Friday coming to the UK, the UK consumers and stores are entirely.

The i newspaper has been bought out by the Daily Mail (hooray for the blackshirts).

I'm not paying over £2 for the Guardian every day, so I'm fcuked.
They’ve been slaughtered for it and a lot of people have cancelled their subscriptions.

They are insisting that nothing will change with regards to it’s writing and political stance but it’s not the point.

Yep, I will just be getting the Guardian on Saturday from now on.

Can't read a newspaper that supported Oswald Mosley and his horrid blackshirts.
