Moving over last day or so and having to visit someone in hospital.. so last two days had chippy food ( ages since I did) 2 curry n chips Marsh Lane £5.50. Then had same at Blue Star on Walton Hall Ave £9 !!!

Had similar recently
Went to the Indian takeaway that wins pretty much every award in gtr Manchester.
About £4 more per person on total for main and rice.
It was decent and better than i normally have, but wouldn't say it was £4pp nicer.

We used to live 5 minutes from that gaff, as you say overpriced and bang average.

They do. They just think “I’ll only be 5 minutes. One car won’t hurt etc.” as if they’re the main character of the world that everyone else lives in.

It’s down a little side road, too. So it’s not obvious at all.
