minor things that make you fume

I'm very guilty of watching the speedo.
Even if I put cruise control on, someone gets up your back..

And as you say bmw drivers still bomb past regardless, like they are in the Stonecutters and know which ones are live cameras and which ones are blag.
We're probably all guilty of it at some point - however if I've got cruise control on, then if someone's tailgating me, too bad for them, I ain't changing speed unless it's for safety (and I don't lane-hog btw)

I've often wondered if it's mandatory for folk to clinically stupid and/or insanely selfish to own/drive a BMW - it seems most BMW drivers pay little or no regard to speed limits, the use of indicators, weather conditions, other road users..
It was a risky statement from myself with regards to bmw drivers, as some lids here no doubt have one.
It is purely out of personal experiences however that I find this the case.
I even adjust my own driving habits when I see some mid 30's lid steaming up behind me in one, invariably with some ironed shirts hanging up in the back. Lad, I know what your gonna do, as those two extra car lengths you get on me at the junction will really make you a winner and help you on your dead busy day.

It's really wierd... one of the guys I work with used to have a 323i and drove like a maniac, to the point of people being nervous of being a passenger with him.
About three months ago, he swapped it for a Merc E220 and the change in his style and manner is quite frankly staggering. He's much calmer and relaxed and it's now a pleasure to be driven by him.

He's gone up the ladder mate.
Bmw drivers, really want to be Merc drivers, he will step up to a Range Rover sport next.. Tinted rear windows.. Then he will start shagging a much younger bird at work.. Winner.

Made the mistake of leaving the office an going in to town then, full of foreign kopites, worst episode of the walking dead ever!

Adaptive cruise control mate. You set the distance you want to keep between you and the car in front, and it speeds up and brakes for you. All you do is steer and change gear.

It was incredibly unsettling at first though.
Haha, it's a huge thing to trust at first cruise control.
You dread yours was made on a Friday afternoon by some lad who has started his weekend early, and that out of nowhere your motor will speed up and just not stop.. Next thing your Keanu Reeves in your own speed movie.

I was on train with load of Norwegian Kopites, thought that was a myth until then.
They were on way to lime st, on the beer.
I was wearing NFL shirt, they started singing strange anti USA songs at me. Very odd indeed.

As I was getting off, I pointed to my Everton badge on me trackie bottoms and laughed at them.

Bells.
