What I like to do when I'm queueing, particularly if I'm in the express tills at a supermarket during a busy lunchtime, is to just stand there when the people in front of me move, blocking the many people behind me. It works best if you're near the front of the queue, you stare into the distance with a glazed look on your face for about 10 seconds longer than is socially acceptable whilst enjoying the disgruntled tutting.
