Mirallas at the final whistle.

It's wasnt a mistake.

Damn straight it wernt a mistake. Missing the penalty might have been, but to show dissension and disharmony was a wake-up call to the fraud - who, incidentally, remained quite content to let the players settle the penalty matter themselves rather than put the team straight on who was gonna take it.

Martinez is a coarse word for a lavatory. As long as he's got people bending to his will & not questioning him he'll give them what they want.

Yep, Martinez didn't control this at all. Baines should have been instructed to keep taking the pens after this

I thought Cleverley was one of our better performers yesterday. No way a matchwinner but he's a hardworker and
is a fairly good water-carrier, better yesterday than mc carthy for example.

I have gone off Miralles big time. He used to be a tricky winger with a goalscoring ability but he's lost that
pace and does not hit it off with Lukaku on the pitch.

He should have come on earlier. Gibson looked absolutely knackered by about the 70th minute - we could have moved Cleverley central and put Mirallas on the left. Martinez was gambling on having the subs to make in extra time, it didn't pay off.

Utter nonsense. He's been given almost no game time whatsoever this season. Look at his productivity under Moyes, and in Martinez' first season. How do you expect him to replicate the goals and assists from previous seasons when he's getting one start in every 12 games, and the odd two minutes here and there otherwise?

Epic mismanagement by Martinez - he's got nothing from the player AND devalued him in the process.

Cards on the table. I love Mirallas. I think he is our best player by a country mile. And yes, he's a sulky drama queen at times but do you blame him given what has happened to him this season? Most clubs have their prima donna creative genius and he is ours. The penalty incident did not do him any favours but move on- it was ages ago. Why isn't he playing every week? I wish I knew. Agree with all of you above who have said he has seen through Martinez's ineptitude and has been frozen out.

I know its pointless now, but Mirallas would of been on for me with 20 minutes left for Barkley, we we're still on top at this point just needed that bit extra.

This is right. Barkley must've lost possession 90% of the time he had the ball. He doesn't have the quickness of mind to spot a pass early and consequently holds on to the ball too long and gets caught in possession. I'm no fan of Cleverley but he did ok yesterday. Mirallas should have come on for Barkley with (at least) 30 minutes to go.
