Mirallas at the final whistle.

Football is not a stat based game.

I honestly dont care how many "chances made" he has had. I can see with my own eyes what he brings and what he doesnt.

Average player.
But Vardy is an extremely average player, yet he scores goals, which is the only stat that's important. Literally brings nothing other than energy to the team past that. What's your verdict on him?

No, I guess it's not a stat based game when the stats don't suit, eh? It must surely follow that all the chances Barkley & Deulofeu have made have been boss, while all Mirallas' creativity has been average? o_O

Not that anyone cares, like. Creating chances ain't what football's about. I guess being 2nd top scorer for three seasons on the bounce is 'average' too.

Of course its up for debate. How about Ged? Or Barkley? They are more creative for me. Like Mirallas though, and most of our players to be fair, they all blow hot and cold.

Mirallas is a pretty average creative/attacking player for me. I find the worship he gets from some people (though its not nearly as much as it used to be) to be utterly bizarre.

Each to their own though. I do agree that he should have got more game time but he doesnt help himself either.

Even this season Mirallas has been producing much more per minute than Barkley and the latter is meant to be having a great year.

go to many private training sessions do you?

You don't need to go to training sessions to see the issue. He's lazy in games and has a bad attitude....what makes you beleive he's any different in training? A manager on a losing run would play somebody who could win him games, even if only to help save his own position if he was tearing it up in training. I don't see any of his team mates clamouring for his return to the starting eleven.

I think he's a confidence player (which RM has destroyed) when he's in and out of the side (or getting the odd 10 minutes) he tries too hard to make things happen and tends to lose his head, which leads to red cards and taking on chances when if he kept his composure he would make assists.

Always somebody else's fault.....he's a professional sportsman for heavens sake.

Mirallas should have come on approximately 92 minutes earlier than he did.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I still can't get my head around the fact that miralles wasn't brought on for Barkley as soon as we scored. Ross was having an off day but geri and miralles would have caned their defence with their speed. Over to Martinez why this sub wasn't made...

He is,and Martinez talked him into signing and extended contract then didn't play him. Guaranteed to bolster his confidence. Then Martinez has shown great man management skills.
