Go back and see how many times he passes it sideways.

Go back and try and find some forward passes.

Enjoy how many times he loses the ball.

Breaking up play involves interception more than tackles these days mate.

Passes sideways? Yes, as a means of feeding a winger who moves FORWARD.

Basically, you're finding fault where a virtue is. His game is all about showing for the ball and moving it along. He's good at it.

I imagine he'd only come if Baines is sold and then he'd be first choice left back before taking over from Distin. He's good enough to compete with Distin for starting position already imo

Edit - fee rumoured to be around £10m which is why i think he'll only be an option if we're selling Baines.

I hope we keep Baines but this lad would ease the blow a bit as he's the sort of young top player we should be looking at

Summary about right, but fee will be a lot less than £10M....it's the Eredivisie, and whilst they have technically great players, there's little money in that league and wages are low. Bruno MI would be available for around €6-7M in my opinion. Feyenoord have a bit of an internal wrangle going on at the minute between players and management, and that's probably why he was not in the starting eleven against the Mighty Roda JC ( who unfortunately got smashed 4-0).....I'd happily take him.
