Robles - good performance in League Cup game, perhaps a little suspect for the goal but great save in the last minute. So far- Very pleased with signing.

Alcaraz - Free Transfer - hasn't played a competitive game, of course we wait and see.

Kone - Utter, unmitigated disaster of a full debut. Not made a TANGIBLE impact on a game that he has been subbed into. 5m (minimum) to 6.5m (maximum) of money already looking wasted. So far - total, predictable disaster.

The boss himself.

4 games so far - has continued with Moyes philosophy of one up front home and away (including cup game at home to Stevenage). 3 goals conceded. 4 scored. Results as of 90 minutes - 4 games, 0 wins (including home to West Brom in terrible form for 2013), 4 draws, 0 losses. Win ratio, er, 0%.

Go back and try and find some forward passes.

Enjoy how many times he loses the ball.

Why not just say you don't rate the leathers but are prepared to give RM and the players the benefit for now.

In all honesty I know next to nothing about Kone and Mcarthy but RM will stand or fall on whether he knows more than me and thee about these lads the best we can do is let it ride for a season then flash at people in Stanley park during the hours of dusk.

21 year old Ghanian striker. Don't know a great deal about him to be honest, but looking at the fee, and based on our major need for a striker, surely that's the type of player we could have realistically gone for?

What about Gibson/McCarthy/Barkley?

Agree with you Chico fine player for us Arteta. But we got a good price for him given his age and the fact he demanded a transfer.
What annoys me is the way this has been twisted round by some posters,to suit their agenda.

Breaking up play involves interception more than tackles these days mate.

Passes sideways? Yes, as a means of feeding a winger who moves FORWARD.

Basically, you're finding fault where a virtue is. His game is all about showing for the ball and moving it along. He's good at it.

Very good at it. A midfield of him and Gibson with the likes of Pienaar, Barkley, Mirallas and Deulofeu would be very good.
Gibson and McCarthy both showing for the ball, moving it along quickly, thats been our problem, slow build it up play, Gibson and McCarthy will speed the play up.
