Not entirely sure mate, but think it was EU money & MDC.

I can't answer your question mate, but the Albert dock and "the cazzy" were two of our old haunts as kids.

What was the big Tesco in Litherland built on the site of?

It was a site that old engine oil and similar stuff was put into drums and exported to be re refined for other use. Was owned by an Everton minor shareholder. It had to be left unused for years so spill ages ran away naturally before any building could take place.

To maintain demand for complimentary commodities. It is in their best interests to do this as you will always need one or the other unless you buy 3 tins of hot dogs and 4 packs of rolls at a time.
