Who dressed ARod tonight? #myeyesmyeyes

Good one from DC so far. Timely hitting from the Metropolitans.

Amazing debut for Ohtani. His impact is like Valenzuela's, if Valenzuela had hit home runs too. He's delivered and then some.

Cubs home opener at 2:20 Eastern tomorrow.

Mets sweep the Nats in their season opener in DC, and the pitching holds tight again.

Now as optimistic as I love to be, did anyone really see the Mets starting the season 7–1, hitting three grand slams, and the starting pitching and bullpen to be as effective as this?

Early days but Mickey Callaway seems a very astute choice... 154 games to go!

Whisper it quietly.... but the Mets have the best record in MLB, and have won 8 straight games.

Doesn’t matter how pretty it is, but they keep getting the job done.

How many comebacks can you ask for?

Hugeeeeeee start by Zach Wheeler and A-Gon coming up clutch again.

They’re gonna loosen up, the bullpen won’t be able to work this well all season; but huge 7 frames for Wheeler and for now, let’s just enjoy Franchise history, and let’s just enjoy a 4.5 game lead over the Nats.

Next up the Brewers!

Strange feeling to be jealous of the Mets!

Enjoy it!

Rockies go 2-4 on this homestand, so no great shakes there. But there was a highlight.

Brawl today with the Padres, 5 ejections - and the bestbpart that the San Diego pitcher will never live down: he threw his glove at Nolan Arenado when being charged. His GLOVE.

Wuss.

I was embarrassed for Perdomo as a Padre fan. Start something throw your glove and then run away haha!! Most of the guys ejected were for fighting whereas Perdomo was ejected purely for the pitch haha!!

Sums up their overall fighting spirit if you ask me haha!!

This will always be my favorite fight
