Staying up late to watch every game has started to take its toll on me, I’m exhausted going to work every day but it’s so worth it. Couple of well earned days off for players and fans!!
I love this team. Whilst not superstars, I’ve loved the additions of Bader and Iglesias, just solid day to day players. You need them to allow the superstars to do what they do. Vientios is another but he will be a future star, hopefully this is just the beginning for him.
As Howie Rose said last night, we’re “heading to California!!!”
Are the A’s playing in Vegas from next year? With the A's still being owned by Fisher - FJF and Sell the Team, by the way - I'm all aboard the Mets train this post-season.
LGM.
Nope they're a couple of years out. They imploded the Tropicana yesterday, which is the site where they plan to build the new ballpark....Are the A’s playing in Vegas from next year?
Padres may have blown it. They looked awful last night.....Padres/Dodgers tied at 2 a piece following LA’s shutout win last night.

100%. At the time, I assumed that Adrian Houser was the bigger piece Stearns brought over from the Brewers.I'm hoping the split schedule for games 2, 4, 5 & 7 mean we get a few 9-10pm Starts next week.
But this side is just full of likeable players (and Diaz). I'd love a clutch HR for Taylor, he has been huge all season, a smart Stearns pick up which no one really paid any attention to.
They'll move quickly though once they break ground. The T-Mobile arena there went up like a shot.....Nah, they’re playing in Sacramento for a bit. They haven’t even got a spade in the ground yet at Vegas.

Folks underestimate how tight Fisher and Kaval are.
They're trying to sell shares in the team, but they're priced at a future value. Right now? It's not worth anything close to what they want. They're going to spend at least 3 years in Sacramento playing in front of no one. The biggest contract given out by the A's under Fisher is 60m to Chavez back in 2004(!!!) - and he's not going to suddenly start spending in the next 3 years.
I would not be shocked if this Vegas bid falls flat and they have to sell.
Save us, Joe Lacob
Monday is great for me, as soon as the Mets finish, it’s MNF for the Bills. So either way, I’m still gonna be knackered
