So then, wonder boy has arrived and is producing according to plan, to date. Addison Russell (#3 prospect in MiLB) coming in today to play 2nd, I suppose. Here's some background on the coming legend that is Kris Bryant. Worth the watch, especially if you don't know about the goat thing. This is chock fulla Chicago, here. Lots of smiles on the Northside.

Lots of hope right now for your Cubbies. Hope you get more mileage and smiles from them than we've had with Jurickson Profar, who will have missed both 2014 and 2015 with a shoulder injury.

Yup. Second base is providing a BA/OBP way under the Mendoza line, so Addison gets the adventure of learning to play second while they figure out if they want to keep Starlin Castro. Decisions, decisions. Castro's off to a good start, they'll never get more for him than they will now...

With Russell's glove, getting at home at second shouldn't be a problem. Everybody in baseball sees the situation, so Theo's just waiting on somebody to make the call.

Thought Rog Bennett had the perfect analogue of Brendan Rodgers in Bobby Valentine, but this thread may be the only appropriate place to write this, so there.

He also had a better description of Rodgers, but in case youngins like GoatJr or any who may be double-jointed/curious read this thread I'll leave the better description out.
