Funny old player is Niese, excellent at ground outs, not so much strikeouts!

I have a feeling the weak NL east will play right into our hands this year

Still getting to grips with names. But his has stood out along with Harvey, Wright, Colon and Duda. And something like DeGrom?

Is there a way to watch matches in the UK mate?

I use a streaming site, same as the football, HD mets every 6pm (can't be bothered with 1am games, as i start work at 6).
BT show games too, but not too many sadly.

Yeah, deGrom will be huge i think. Wheeler, next season when he's back will be awesome, and if he can remain hot like this all season d'Arnaud will be a revelation.

A quick search of the interwebs revealed the following:

"Live coverage of Major League Baseball on UK Television is exclusive to ESPN during the season.ESPN America also has live coverage of the MLS each week, and you can also catch live commentary of Major League Baseball on BBC Radio 5 Live every week."

Ooohh... baseball is great on radio, better on radio many would argue (@mezzrow?), so if you get the right announcers that's the way to get the feel of the game. It's still 3 hours, though.

If you can listen to Vin, listen to Vin. He's the best in my lifetime, and the fact he's doing it, and is still as good as he is at it, is a modern miracle.

I'm no Dodgers fan, but he's the best. Listen to him while you can. So sorry we don't have Ronnie Santo doing "color" (...why, oh why, do we always do that???...) on Cubs broadcasts any more. There's a rhythm that the best have that is just hypnotic. Here he is at his best.
