Terrible spot for Terry Collins to be in tonight.

deGrom or Matz, obviously Matz will get the nod, but had he went with deGrom, and saw out the win, we'd have had at least an extra days rest, and Matz, Harvey and Noah refreshed and raring to go. A big risk obviously if it had backfired with a rookie pitcher in for his first post season start away against Greinke.

LETS GO METS.

More light on it... possibly 9 games away from World Champions :lol:

Think we're in a good spot. Looks like ol' Donny Baseball is going to send out Kershaw and Greinke on three days rest if it goes five. Perfect night to light up Kershaw.
And that Cespedes homer!!

We can still feel the heat from the speed of the ball here in the UK! unbelievable
 
Rangers-Jays game 5 will be interesting. I'm not sure if any of the Rangers believe they can win; they certainly aren't getting hits to stay in the game. Good news is that Hamels should be well rested for the start. We'll see what happens.

In a weird way, I think the Rangers may take it. I'm wondering if the Jays were a bit tight playing at home

Yup. Went up 2-1. Can end the series with a win tonight.
Harvey didn't have his good stuff last night. Gutted it out and gave up three runs in five innings.
Just saw that Cespedes batflip. Superb

Hope we get our chance to avenge 1969, and so does MLB. We're all so tired of the Cardinals and Dodgers.

So Mets can get to the half final thing tonight with a win. Who is starting pitcher tonight? Someone boss I hope.

Also, Bartolo Colon makes me think I could still make it in a professional sport!
