SNIFF IT WORLD

ONE SEASON PROPER SUPPORT ONE SEASON IN THE WORLD SERIES

ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ OOOHHHH

IN METS WE TRUST

(The Royals are quite good aren't they?)

Personally, i'd rather face Royals than Blue Jays.

Royals have better pitching in my opinion, bs show with Arrieta, Grienke and Kershaw x 2, we can not only match them, but beat them. Give that plus the fact that all of our pitchers will be on full rest, Harvey, deGrom and Syndergaard, it's gonna be tasty! I can't wait, but will happily see the Royals and Blue Jays series go to a deciding game 7. Already ordered my pennant tee!

Royals were in the World Series last year yeah?

Big game experience.

Big game experience is facing Grienke and Kershaw on the road, and beating them, beating Arrieta. Sweeping the Cubs.

What the Blue Jays have is power bats, but Power Bats versus Power Pitchers would definitely be an interesting scenario. I think Royals-Mets would be my choice as who i'd rather face, due to the fact that i believe that Cueto, Volquez, Ex-Met Young and Ventura are all beatable, I think the Mets would come out on top.

Blue Jays, it almost feels like you don't know what to expect. We'll see.

It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. - Bart Giamatti

Soon, oh so soon, you will learn that the Mets are a top candidate for being the Everton or Spurs of MLB.

I feel bad for y'all who just recently jumped into baseball and decided to hitch up to the Queens lads.

Haven't they done ridiculously well to get this far though?

Would prefer the Jays. Still think the Royals are the best team left. Their lineup has very few strikeouts in it and their bullpen is sick. If they can get some quality starts, they'll win it all

Not for the faint of heart that's for sure. As my grandfather often used to say, it builds character. I've seen some greatness since my first game at Shea in 83 (seeing Doc in his rookie year in 85 was magical) but some utter dredge too. As a Mets fan, the highs are high but the lows are really low

Don't coin me in this. Even baby pictures of me in Mets gear. I have family who are from Southampton/Huntington, so naturally it's a Mets/Islanders love affair for me, along with the Jets!

I've seen BAD Mets teams, very bad mets teams, Mets teams who have lost the last game at Shea. Infact.... I don't think i've ever seen the Mets win in person in about 15 goes.

Try freezing night, and Dmitri Young and frigging Pokey Reese scoring in the bottom of the 17ths as we lose 8-7 to the Reds

Were there ever any two more talented than Doc and Strawberry to wear the Mets' uniform?

Also, those Mets could do some lemo.
